PhoneLink is a TAPI 2.1-compliant CTI client application available with the Ericsson WebSwitch 2000 product family. PhoneLink enables full control of any telephone attached to the WebSwitch 2000 IPBX via a user-friendly Windows-based Graphical User Interface (GUI). PhoneLink runs on any Microsoft Windows 95/98 or NT 4.0 PC.

The WebSwitch product family is a member of Ericsson’s growing line of IP-enabled voice products. The WebSwitch 2000 is a comprehensive solution to traditional and IP-based voice services that may be distributed across a customer’s existing Intranet. In addition, the WebSwitch 2000’s highly scalable architecture offers investment protection by allowing customers to affordably extend the number of users, the number of lines and the number of Voice over IP (VoIP) sessions as need arises. 

PhoneLink is a Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) application, which allows a LAN user to connect to the WebSwitch 2000 and manage altelephonel the functions of their  directly from a Windows 95/98 or NT 4.0 PC. The WebSwitch 2000’s TAPI interface enables a user to place and receive calls with a click of the mouse as well as access more advanced functions of the WebSwitch, such as online directory and visual voice mail controls.
