COMPUTER TELEPHONY INTEGRATION
Computer Telephony is a relatively new technology that combines several
existing technologies to connect callers with people and information over
a public or private telephone network. Iwatsu has used this new technology
to develop products designed to allow users to handle telephone calls in
an automated manner. By combining standard ADIX features such as Caller
ID, Automatic Number Identification (ANI) and Dialed Number Identification
Service (DNIS) with the powerful processing engines of PC applications,
important information about a call or caller will arrive at the ADIX station
user's PC with an incoming call. |
